Domaine de la Briffaude has been known since the 16th century for its agricultural expertise, based on its exploitation of vines and its olive trees.
In the 16th century "La Grande Briffaude" was renowned as an inn: Molière himself together with his company of actors came here during their theatrical tours to rest and no doubt quench their thirst!
Today, Domaine de la Briffaude concentrates 99% on wine growing and 1% on olive oil. The Gener family has maintained continuity at the Domaine for three generations of grape growers and wine-makers.
